Time to Pay the Piper

It is difficult to see a way to view the current Trump Administration uncooperative behavior with respect to the transition and not think about the possibility that it is all designed to make the Biden Administration’s work much harder.  More of our fellow Americans will die because of the Covid-19 and the Trump Administration’s lack of preparedness at any level.  More damage will be done to our cyber infrastructure because the Trump Administration refuses to sanction the Russians.  More of our small businesses will be permanently shuttered for lack of sufficient cash flow subsidy from the Trump Republicans in the Legislature.  At the end of the day, we the American people will be the ones to pay the piper for all this hyper partisanship.  It is not about Republicans or Democrats.  No, it is about un-American politicians and their rigid ideological agendas.

The Sausage Grinder is Broken, will you help to fix it?  If you haven’t read A Broken Sausage Grinder; Is Our Government Fundamentally Flawed?, you’re not prepared for the job.

  1. It will take years to repair the damage he has done to our democracy. I think Trump knows how hard he is making the next 4 years for Biden and our country. In his head that will somehow make him better.

    1. I understand what you are saying, but consider the message if our republican-democracy stands against these un-American, seditious activities. We are still damaged, but in some ways we are also stronger. I’m thinking of a Norman Rockwell painting where the young disheveled school girl, complete with a black eye, is sitting in the hall outside the Principal’s office. The caption reads “What doesn’t kill me makes me stronger.” Thanks for joining our important American Conversation.
