Today we mourn the loss of over 81,000 souls to the coronavirus pandemic. Over 81,000! We lost all those Americans in less than four months while we had another roughly 1,350,000 of our brothers and sisters fighting the covid-19 disease. And, the fight is a long way from over so the death toll and total case numbers will be rising for some time into the future.
There is much about the coronavirus that we don’t know and some of it will take years to discover. We have no treatments that are particularly well matched to the fight although we do have some that appear hopeful. The same thing seems to be true for potential vaccines.
My question to all of you is this. Does anyone believe that our President has done anything to minimize the carnage this pandemic has inflicted on these United States of America?
