Freudian Slip

Last Saturday at a campaign rally in Illinois, Representative Mary Miller (R) thanked President Trump for the three Associate Justices he nominated to the United States Supreme Court saying the Court’s Opinion overturning Roe vs. Wade was a “victory for white life.”  She has been trying to correct her words, saying she meant to say victory for right to life.”  She won her primary so apparently her constituents were not offended by her Freudian slip.  For those who may have been offended, my dictionary tells me that a Freudian slip is “an unintentional error regarded as revealing subconscious feelings.”

So, I guess she told us what she believes and asked us not to hold it against her.  If she tells me what she really thinks and then tries to hide her thoughts, which version tells me more about the person asking for my vote?

The Sausage Grinder is Broken, will you help to fix it?  If you haven’t read A Broken Sausage Grinder; Is Our Government Fundamentally Flawed?, you’re not prepared for the job.
